Wevyn Muganda is an international development strategist and project manager working at the intersection of gender equality, peacebuilding, and digital innovation. She has over eight years of experience designing, managing, and scaling programs at grassroots, regional, and global levels, with a strong focus on accountability, reporting systems, and operational effectiveness for nonprofit and social impact organisations.

Her work spans Africa, South Asia, and global policy spaces, including high-level engagements with the United Nations, African Union, World Bank, and international civil society networks. Wevyn is widely recognised for her ability to translate complex policies, donor strategies, and research into practical systems and initiatives that function effectively in real-world implementation contexts.

She has led and contributed to award-winning projects and advocacy initiatives advancing human rights, social justice, gender equality, and meaningful youth engagement. Her approach bridges strategy and execution, ensuring that ambitious goals are supported by systems that enable delivery, learning, and accountability.

Wevyn holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Gender Studies from the University of Iceland, an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Eldoret, and is a graduate of the Leadership, Organizing, and Action Program at Harvard Kennedy School. She has served in advisory roles with UNICEF Generation Unlimited, the World Bank Solutions for Youth Employment initiative, and the Internet Society.

She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Chalkback Inc. and Arctive Citizens Kenya, and is a Founding Board Member of Haki Data Lab.
